On the 16th of November 2018, SMK St Teresa held a dinner at Pullman Hotel to raise fund for the rebuilding of our school hall. The Minister of Education Sarawak , YB Dato Sri Michael Manyin was invited to dine with the other guests. He was seated with Puan Mary John and other VIPs.
The event started off with the singing of the national and state anthem which was played out by the school band. Next, prayers were recited respectively before a sensational dance was performed by the school’s Kelab Kebudayaan dancers.
Then, YB Dato Seri Michael Manyin was invited on stage to give a speech. It was indeed a compendious speech and everyone was delighted when he announced RM 500,000.00 will be donated to the school for the rebuilding of the school hall.
After the formalize giving of money to the school, the foods were served professionally by the staffs of Pullman Hotel. While everyone was enjoying the lip smacking dishes, a few performances were done to please them. A few paintings by ex-Teresians and Mr Teo were also promoted and sold to the guests during the dinner.
