Our school’s PIBG AGM was held on the 9th of March at SK St Teresa’s Hall. The main objective of the meeting was to meet and discuss and to help improve the school’s overall performance and facilities with the cooperation of parents and teachers.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Parents-Teachers Association of our school, Mr Thomas William anak Suip in the presence of Madam Christina, the vice chairperson, Mr Awang Kok Omar, the ex-officio, Madam Tan Pek Huang, the treasurer, Madam Chong Chin Yee, the secretary, Madam Jennifer Joseph, the vice secretary and other committee members. Our Principal, Madam Mary John was unable to attend the meeting as she had to attend another meeting.
During the meeting, the committees of the parents-teachers association board informed and updated the parents about the ongoing works such as the rebuilding of the first phase of the new school hall. Madam Tan presented the financial statements including the final total sum collected during the Mini Food Sale. They also had a Q&A session where the parents could ask questions about the ongoing rebuilding among others. The meeting was adjourned at around 12pm. Light refreshments was served after the meeting.
