On the 21st of June 2019, the school had its first ever ‘Ramah Tamah Tahun Baru Gawai Raya’. The objective of this event was to celebrate Chinese New Year as well as the Gawai Raya celebration. This event took place in the students respective classrooms from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for the morning session, and 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. of the afternoon session.
For this event, students and teachers were encouraged to wear their traditional costumes. Food and drinks were also brought by the students to be shared among others. The highlight of this event was the ‘poco-poco’ session among the students which lasted for quite a while. At the end of the event, everyone went home with smiles on their faces.
